The views from our suite were wicked beautiful—saw the whole bay and sunset right from the balcony! Staff was super friendly, especially Karin who had great tips on spots to check out. Breakfast on the terrace? Totally a highlight. Just wish there were more options for dietary restrictions, like hardboiled eggs or somethin'.

I had an amazing time! Our suite had a breathtaking sea view and a spacious veranda. The breakfasts were just right, and the staff, especially Karin and Catalina, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It's located close to great seafood spots and funiculars. 🌅

What an enchanting experience! The view from my room was absolutely stunning, capturing the majestic bay and picturesque hills of Valparaiso. The highlight each morning was breakfast on the terrace, offering a lovely spread with fresh fruits and pastries. The staff here deserves special mention—Karin and Pablo were particularly attentive, sharing their local knowledge and making sure I had everything I needed. The historic atmosphere of the hotel felt genuine, with charming vintage decor that poured character into every detail. However, the wooden floors really let sound carry. I could hear movement from the room above and neighbors’ commotion late at night. Additionally, while the breakfast options were delightful, I wished for a warmer dish to complement the pastries.

The bed lacked comfort, leading to restless nights. Limited internet access in the room forced us to venture outside for Wi-Fi. One trash bin in the bathroom was insufficient, and the cleanliness felt a bit superficial rather than thorough.

It was an excellent fit for a swift stopover in Valparaiso with reasonable value. The view from the breakfast terrace was lovely and made each morning special. Making sure to ask about breakfast options really helps get what you want.

I stayed for 4 nights in the Suite with Sea View. The room was spacious and had a fantastic view from the balcony—just perfect for chilling in the evening. The mattress was new and super comfortable, which really helped with sleep. Breakfast was nice, too, and they had great scrambled eggs. The vibe of the whole place is very relaxing and quiet, ideal for recharging.

The location was exceptional, with easy access to local art and vibrant street scenes, which our children particularly enjoyed exploring.

We occasionally heard noise from the wooden floors above, which disrupted our peace at night.

Boutique Acontraluz provided an exceptional experience with its charming ambiance, located in the artistic Cerro Alegre district. The hotel is beautifully decorated, offering spacious rooms with breathtaking ocean views. The breakfast served on the terrace, overlooking the stunning harbor, was certainly a highlight. The staff, especially Pablo, were incredibly helpful, assisting with local recommendations and ensuring a pleasant stay. This location is also walkable to various attractions and restaurants.

There was no warm dish option available for breakfast.
